Bombers Bits Pelham Segundo 55
Bombers Bits Pelham Segundo 55 has attachments for two reins, one near the mouthpiece and one at the end of the shank.
Some riders struggle handling two sets of reins and prefer to use roundings. These are leather loops to connect from one ring to the other on the bit shank. The rein is then attached to this rounding so the rider only has the one rein to hold.
The Pelham 55 has the shortest shank (55 mm) out of the Pelham Bomber range. This will soften poll pressure and leverage on the mouthpiece and curb.
It is supplied with curb chain and hooks.
The Segundo relives tongue pressure while keeping an even pressure on the bars of the mouth, encouraging the horse to stay light to the contact. Horses find it difficult to lean on this mouthpiece or put their tongue over the bit.
